This assignment on design for the urban environment focused on Bradford, which is preparing to celebrate its city of culture status in 2025.

 

This milestone, together with the need to re-think the meaning of public space in the light of environmental and modern life pressures provides opportunity to create an urban landscape that will support and inspire those who will interact with it into the future.

Within this design my aim was to create a space celebrating multi-cultural Bradford and to create green space within the city to be enjoyed by residents and visitors of all ages and ethnicities.
